Signly LK Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Signly LK does not require an account and does not run its own servers. Your quiz progress, scores and study history are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. The only data collection comes from the third-party advertising service we use to keep the app free (see Advertising below).

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number or exam results, and we do not operate accounts, analytics or crash-reporting services of our own. Your practice history stays on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Device information

The app itself does not send device information to us. Google AdMob may collect device information (model, OS version, language), advertising identifiers, and an IP address with approximate location derived from it, as described under Advertising.

Analytics

We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services of our own.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdMob to support free access to the app. AdMob may collect:

• Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or the Android advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device information (model, OS version, language)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

On iOS, we ask for App Tracking Transparency permission before any identifier is used for personalised ads. If you decline, or on Android before you make a choice, you still see ads — they are simply not personalised. Where required (EEA, UK and similar jurisdictions), a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) is shown before any ad request is made.

Your choices:

• Reset or withdraw ad consent at any time from the app's settings screen.
• Reset the App Tracking Transparency permission from iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
• Opt out of personalised advertising generally via Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).

Third-party services

• Google AdMob — advertising. Google's privacy policy governs how it processes this data: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Play / Apple App Store — the optional “Remove Ads” purchase is handled entirely by the store. We do not receive or store your payment details — only a receipt confirming the purchase, used to unlock the ad-free state on your device.

Data retention

Your practice history is stored on your device until you uninstall the app, which removes all locally stored data. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained under Google's own policies.

Children's privacy

Signly LK is intended for a general audience preparing for a driving licence and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly serve personalised ads to users we know to be under 13, consistent with Google's Families policies.

Security

Because the app has no accounts and no servers of our own, your study history is never transmitted to us; it stays in the app's private storage on your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
